A guide is only worth something if you can rely on it to make a decision. Here are the rules every piece of content follows before it is published.
Tested
Every method is tried before it is recommended.
Sourced
Figures link to dated primary sources.
Up to date
Guides are reviewed and dated at every update.
Independent
A partner tool is always disclosed as a sponsor.
Test before recommending
A recommendation published here has been applied on a real website, in an agency or on Elev8 Lab. When that is not the case, the text says so. Tests are described with their protocol, their period and their limits, including when the result is zero.
Primary sources, with dates
Every figure links to its original source (official documentation, published study, first-hand data) with its date. A figure seen only on a competitor’s site is not used until its primary source has been found.
Visible updates
SEO and GEO change every month. Every article shows its publication date and its update date. Reference guides are reviewed at least every six months, and sooner when a search engine changes its rules.
Independence
A tool vendor can become a partner of Elev8 Lab, but never in secret: any sponsored content is presented as such, and any affiliate link is flagged next to the link. A partnership never changes the opinion given.
And what about AI?
AI is one of the tools used: desk research, structuring, proofreading. Every piece of content is checked, completed with field experience and owned by its author. A text is only published if it brings something you cannot already find elsewhere.
Key takeaway
Tested, sourced, dated, independent: if a piece of content breaks one of these rules, report it and it will be corrected.
